Rheinfelden Wedding Photographer Switzerland

In an amazing season that was slowly coming to an end, I was preparing for a longer trip to make everlasting memories at an amazing wedding in Rheinfelden. A beautiful city, located in Aargau Canton of Switzerland, lies on the border crossing between Germany and Switzerland. It shares the name with the fabulous Rhein river. Having gone through a lot of details in our conversation and after meeting Kristina and Vedran several times before their wedding, I just couldn’t wait for the special day to come.

There´s nothing quite as magical as a love story like the one where you marry your childhood sweetheart. They tied the knot in the autumn ambiance in the presence of close friends and family who made their fairy tale wedding possible.

Their story was everything but ordinary. It started on New Year’s Eve 2004/05 when the couple first met. You know it is true love when you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. Much to her surprise, Kristina received an MSN Messenger request from “Vedi.P“. To her, he was “like a magnet with his words“. The teenage girl wanted to get to know the boy behind those intelligent words on the screen. This soon led to their first date consisting of watching Pearl Harbour DVD and eating a microwave lasagne meal snuggled on the couch.

From one date to another they quickly realized their mutual love for Super Nintendo and Game Boy. They both grew up playing Mario Kart console game and reveled in being Mario or Yoshi, zipping through landscapes and navigating obstacles. Their childhood fantasy came to life when they dressed in fantasy characters and rode down the streets of Tokyo in a real-life Mario Kart. For many, a cherry blossom tree is a reminder of how precious our lives really are and in the first quarter of 2017 Vedran proposed to Kristina under a cherry blossom tree.

“Another thing I admire about him is that with his playful and light-hearted nature he can always bring laughter to whatever is happening“, she says. He finishes her sentence by saying “I can read her like an open book and I really like the way she smiles“.

The venue: Emil Frey Classics

The wedding venue was an amazing Emil Frey Classic car museum that holds numerous well-known world classic cars. Kristina and Vedran used one of their beauties as their wedding car, it’s from the 1960’s – the Bentley S2.
